Valentine's Crafts

 

The girls spent all day Saturday cutting, gluing, taping, coloring and carefully placing stickers on their card boxes they are taking to school for their Valentine Party. They decorated a shoe box and a candy box. First they covered the entire box then decorated with stickers. Then a slit was placed with care on top of the box to accomodate all the valentines they are going to receive.

Keira tore pieces of colorful paper and glued them onto her box. Leilani covered hers with wrapping paper.

 

 

 

The valentines they made are butterflies cut out of card stock then two slits are cut in the center to make way for the lollipop. Each girl had her own way of decorating. Leilani chose colored pencil while Keira worked hard at placing as many stickers as possible on each one. However, the most elaborate valentine was the one Leilani made for herself.
